Advanced Powerboat Course | MAY 26 & 27 | Rossaveel, Co. Galway

Have you got a Need for Speed?
This is an advanced course designed for those with strong boat handling skills and substantial experience. Several pre-requisite certificates and qualifications are required before stepping onboard.
Boat Handling/Driving Experience
A National Powerboat Certificate or equivalent, such as the RYA Level 2 Powerboat Handling Certificate, is required.
A minimum of 32 hours logged as helm after completing the above course. Logs can be self-certified.
Completing the Intermediate Powerboat Course is highly recommended.
Navigation Pre-Requisites – Theoretical Knowledge and Shorebased
A certificate from the Irish Sailing "Coastal Navigation for Small Boats" course or an equivalent is required.
It is also recommended that participants hold a VHF Radio Operator’s Certificate and a First Aid Certificate.
